In the event that groundwater is encountered during excavation that results in <br /> the need to dewater groundwater from excavated areas, National Pollutant <br /> Discharge Elimination System(NPDES)permit coverage shall be obtained from <br /> the Board for any proposed discharge to surface water (storm drain). In addition,to obtain approval for <br /> long-term discharge to the City's stormwater collection system, applicant must <br /> demonstrate that the City's existing storm drain network has capacity for the <br /> additional maximum flow in 10-year recurrence interval storm event. <br /> VII. ALAMEDA COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS <br /> A.
