Summary of citizen participation process/Efforts made to broaden citizen participation <br />Summarize citizen participation process and how it impacted goal-setting <br /> <br />Notice of a summary and the availability of the Draft FY 2017-2018 Annual Action Plan for 30-day public comment was published in a locally <br />circulated newspaper, Daily Review, on March 17, 2017. The City Council held a public hearing on April 3rd, 2017 to receive initial public input <br />on the Draft Annual Action Plan and to begin the 30-day comment from April 6th through May 5th, 2017. The Draft Action Plan was made <br />available for public review and comment at City Hall (City Clerk’s office and Community Development Department), the Main Library, and the <br />City website (www.sanleandro.org/depts/cd/housing/plans.asp) during the 30-day period. <br />Notice of a summary and the availability of the Draft FY 2017-2018 Annual Action Plan was published in a locally circulated newspaper, Daily <br />Review, on April 14, 2017 for the final Action Plan review at a City Council public hearing on May 1, 2017. Because HUD still had not determined <br />and released its FY2017-2018 CDBG and HOME allocations, City Council deferred review of the final Action Plan to a future date though City <br />Council opened the public hearing to take in public comment and received none. <br />Notice of a summary and the availability of the Draft FY 2017-2018 Annual Action Plan was published in a locally circulated newspaper, Daily <br />Review, on June 2, 2017 for the June 19th City Council public hearing to review the final Action Plan. <br /> <br /> Annual Action Plan <br />2017 <br />13 <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 (exp. 07/31/2015) <br />63
