IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017-093 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. I IN THE AMOUNT OF $158,000.00 AND <br />AN INCREASE IN THE CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER CAP FROM 25% TO 30% <br />FOR A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH INDIGO / HAMMOND & PLAYLE <br />ARCHITECTS, LLP FOR THE POLICE BUILDING AND SOUTH OFFICES EXPANSION PROJECT, <br />PROJECT NO. 2014.0481 (PROVIDES FOR ADDITIONAL DESIGN SERVICES TO BE FUNDED <br />FROM EXISTING PROJECT APPROPRIATIONS) <br />WHEREAS, an agreement dated November 7, 2016 exists between the City of'San Leandro and Indigo <br />Hammond & Playle Architects, LLP; and <br />WHEREAS, a contract change order is required to compensate for additional services; and <br />WHEREAS, the project budget is sufficient to accommodate the increased Change Order cost; and <br />WHEREAS, Amendment No. I to the agreement, a copy of which is attached, is presented to this City <br />Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said Amendment No. I to the agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the Change Order Cap is increased to 30%, or $205,400.00, such that the total not to exceed <br />amount of the Agreement is increased to $853,401.85 for the Consulting Services Agreement with Indigo <br />/ Hammond & Playle Architects, LLP for the Police Building and South Offices Expansion Project, <br />Project No. 2014.048 1, and approval is granted for the attached amendment reflecting the not to exceed <br />amount; and <br />That said Amendment No. I for $158,000.00 substantially in the form presented is hereby approved and <br />execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and <br />That an original executed Amendment No. I shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution. <br />Introduced by Councilinernber Lopez, and passed and adopted this 3rd day of July, 2017, by the <br />following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Ballew, Cox, Hernandez, Lee, Lopez, Thomas; <br />Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None <br />ATTEST: <br />Tarnika Green Vood, City Clerk <br />
