File Number: 17-402 <br />or exceed their annual objectives and provide needed services vital to the community. <br />Public Services: <br />CALICO - Child Abuse Intervention Project - $20,537 <br />·Provides family support services for children who have suffered abuse. <br />Davis Street Family Resource Center - Basic Needs Program - $36,197 <br />·Provides food, clothing, childcare, job readiness training, medical and mental health <br />clinics, and social services to low-income people. <br />SOS/Meals on Wheels - Meal Delivery to Homebound Seniors - $42,203 <br />·Provides support services to low income seniors. <br />General Administration: <br />ECHO Housing - Fair Housing Counseling - $10,000 <br />·Provides fair housing services. <br />Current Agency Policies <br />Current Council policy is defined by the FY 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan, adopted by <br />Resolution No. 2015-080 on April 20, 2015. <br />Previous Actions <br />On June 19, 2017, the City Council approved the FY 2016-2017 Action Plan, which contains <br />the four programs/projects described above. <br />Environmental Review <br />National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) environmental reviews of each project are <br />complete. <br />Board/Commission Review and Actions <br />On April 26, 2017, the Human Services Commission recommended that the CALICO, Davis <br />Street Family Resource Center and SOS/Meals on Wheels public service projects/activities <br />should be awarded CDBG funds under the CAP Program for FY 2017-2018. ECHO does not <br />need to apply under the CAP Program because it is helping the City fulfill its federal mandate <br />to affirmatively further fair housing. <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />The public services projects will cost $108,937. If approved, they will be funded by FY <br />2017-2018 CDBG monies in the following accounts: <br />·CALICO - San Leandro Child Abuse Intervention Project ($20,537) - 165-43-171-5120 <br />·Davis Street - Basic Needs Program ($36,197) - 165-43-207-5120 <br />·SOS/Meals on Wheels - Meal Delivery to Homebound Seniors ($42,203) - 165-43-224- <br />5120 <br />Page 2 City of San Leandro Printed on 7/11/2017 <br />375
