City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: July 17, 2017 <br />Staff Report <br />Agenda Section:File Number:17-404 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number:8.N. <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Debbie Pollart <br />Public Works Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:Staff Report for a Resolution to Approve a Non-Professional Services <br />Agreement for Citywide Re-Striping between the City of San Leandro and <br />Chrisp Company for an Amount Not-to-Exceed $56,000. <br />SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recommends approval of a Non-Professional Services Agreement (NPSA) for the <br />Citywide Re-Striping Project, in an amount not-to-exceed $56,000. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Citywide re-striping work is bid out approximately every other year, and includes the painting <br />of double-yellow, broken yellow and white lines typical of City streets. This project was bid out <br />(Bid 16-17.027), with the City receiving two bids. Chrisp Company was the low bidder, coming <br />in approximately 28% lower than the other bid. <br />Fiscal Impacts and Budget Authority <br />This work, which is performed by an outside contractor, is an existing budgeted line item in <br />the Public Works Gas Tax Fund (140-31-056).
