The City of San Leandro Fiber -Optic Master Plan will contain the blueprint for development of City infrastructure to interconnect all corridors with one another, serve municipal and community needs, support economic development, support identified smart city initiatives, provide policy and connectivity for leveraging light pole assets for new revenue opportunities and prepare the City for the gigabit generation. The report will include how San Leandro can use the broadband network and prepare itself for emerging technologies, including drones, driverless cars, advanced robotics, and mobile hotspots, We will work with you to refine this plan so it is 100% representative of your stakeholders needs and has a high degree of relevance to your community. The Master Plan will function as the guidebook for fiber-optic development across the City and will include all information necessary for San Leandro to begin expanding its broadband wired and wireless networks, implementing smart city applications, connecting more businesses for economic development, implementing best practice governance and policy for broadband operations and leveraging traffic signal and street light poles for generating new revenue from dark fiber and pole attachment leases Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and Magellan Advisors 07/17/2017 for Fiber -Optics Master Plan Exhibit A — Page 8 of 10
