IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THF_; CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017-091 <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE HUMAN SERVICES <br />COMMISSION FOR 2017-18 COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CAP) GRANT <br />RECIPIENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the important work Of Our health and human services <br />community-based organizations in creating a safety net for our most vulnerable populations; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council supports the effort to address the following areas: mental health, <br />hunger, shelter, safety net health care, domestic violence and other areas of need in San Leandro; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and acknowledged the need for certain health and <br />human services as identified in the Human Services Gap Analysis (2017). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />The City Manager is authorized to enter into Community Assistance Program Grant agreements <br />for 2017-18 with the Recipients approved by City Council for a total amount of $150,000 in account <br />010-61-014-8513 in the 2017-18 adopted budget. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Lopez, and passed and adopted this 19th day Of June, 2017, by the <br />following vote: <br />Z� <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Comicilmembers Ballew, Cox, Hernandez, Lee, Lopez, Thomas; <br />Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None <br />�_.�'� <br />ATTEST: <br />Tarnika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017-091 <br />(0) <br />
