IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017-125 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AN EXISTING <br />CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH MEDIA SUPPORT ASSOCIATES FOR <br />THE PREPARATION OF CONSTRUCTION -READY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND <br />ESTIMATES FOR THE MAIN LIBRARY AV EQUIPMENT PROJECT; PROJECT NO. <br />2016.0210 AND MARINA COMMUNITY (MCC) AV EQUIPMENT PROJECT;. <br />PROJECT NO. 2016.0500; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE <br />AND APPROVE INDIVIDUAL CHANGE ORDERS UP TO 10% OF THE AMENDED <br />CONTRACT AMOUNT; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE <br />AND APPROVE CUMULATIVE CHANGE ORDERS UP TO 25% OF THE AMENDED <br />CONTRACT AMOUNT <br />WHEREAS, an agreement dated November 17, 2016, exists between the City of San <br />Leandro and Media Support Associates; and <br />WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 is necessary to provide for an increase in the scope of <br />work; and <br />WHEREAS, Amendment No. l to the agreement, a copy of which is attached, was <br />presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1. That said amendment substantially in the form presented is hereby approved <br />and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and <br />2. That the City Manager is authorized to make non -substantial revisions to said <br />amendment, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and <br />3. That an original executed agreement shall be attached to and made a part of <br />this resolution; and <br />
