Consultant shall also submit preliminary <br /> technical specifications and an engineer's estimate. <br /> Deliverables: Topographic Survey in CAD and PDF format, Six(6)full size plan sets, Technical <br /> Specifications, and Engineer's Estimate. <br /> 3C)70% PS&E: <br /> Preliminary PS&E shall be revised to incorporate comments received from the City. Consultant <br /> shall meet with the City to review these comments, from which the 70% PS&E will be prepared. <br /> Consultant shall provide a response to each comment that is included in a comment table provided <br /> by the City, <br /> Consultant shall prepare the 70% PS&E for the planned pavement reconstruction street sections. <br /> The 70% plans will incorporate typical design elements including layout plans for reconstruction <br /> street sections, pavement treatments, right of way parcel lines, preliminary design, wedge grinds, <br /> conform grind locations at intersecting side streets, typical cross sections, curb and gutter repairs, <br /> gutter flow line for drainage repairs, and limits of work. The plans will be prepared in AutoCAD <br /> format on 24" x 36" sheets, drawn at a scale of 1"=20'. <br /> Rehabilitation plan sheets will include base repair schedules and individual base repair locations. <br /> Base repairs will be marked in the field on the pavement in white paint, numbered, and verified <br /> prior to construction with the City's representative. Additionally, a table summarizing major work <br /> items (e.g., HMA tonnage, base repair area, etc.) and their estimated quantities will be developed <br /> and included on the respective plan sheets. <br /> Traffic striping and pavement marking plans shall be developed for all street section plans. Traffic <br /> striping and pavement markings is assumed to match existing striping. Minor changes might be <br /> requested by the City. This may include alteration or addition of bicycle lanes, which it is assumed <br /> that the City will provide all appropriate details and lane configurations. 70% PS&E striping plans <br /> will include proposed striping in a layer/color separate from the existing striping to indicate the <br /> difference between proposed and existing. Striping and markings will be shown outside of the <br /> paving limits up to 25 feet into begin, end and cross streets. <br /> Curb ramps shall be replaced or retrofitted based on guidance from the Department of <br /> Justice/Department of Transportation Joint Technical Assistance on the Title II of the Americans <br /> with Disabilities Act Requirements to Provide Curb Ramps when Streets, Roads, or Highways are <br /> altered through Resurfacing dated July 8, 2013. Ramps shall be identified as either Greenbook/City <br /> standard case or custom on the plans. Custom ramps shall be detailed in the construction <br /> drawings, Ramps that can be replaced using a Greenbook or City standard case layout will not be <br /> included as a detail in the construction drawings. <br /> City will provide the"Front End" documents and Special Provisions, Consultant shall prepare the <br /> Technical Specifications in MS Word and PDF format.
