City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: November 6, 2017 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:17-611 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION Approving the Measure HH, OO, PP, and NN Citizens Oversight <br />Committee’s Annual Report on Measure HH, OO, PP and NN Taxes for Fiscal <br />Year 2016-17 <br />WHEREAS, on November 4, 2014, the Measure HH half-cent sales tax ordinance was <br />approved by 64% of the voters; and <br />WHEREAS, on November 1, 2016, Measure OO, PP, and NN passed by 66%, 68% and <br />74% of voters, respectively; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Measure HH, OO, PP and NN ordinances require that a Citizens <br />Oversight Committee be created; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Measure HH, OO, PP and NN ordinances require an annual report, <br />prepared by the Citizens Oversight Committee, be presented to the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Measure HH, OO, PP, and NN Citizens Oversight Committee’s annual <br />report on Measure HH, OO, PP, AND NN Taxes, a copy of which is attached, has been presented <br />to this City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That said Annual Report on Measure HH, OO, PP, and NN Taxes for Fiscal Year 2016-17 <br />is hereby approved. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 10/30/2017 <br />126
