One, two <br />and three bedrooms are offered in a range of housing types from urban flats to shopkeeper walkups <br />and family-style town homes. The main building is type V residential over a type I garage. The <br />podium allows for a large interior courtyard promoting social interaction. A long open balcony <br />passage on the western side overlooks the courtyard while enclosed smaller courtyards are features <br />on the edge of the eastern side. A barbeque/cooking station along with a life size chest board set <br />completes the courtyard. <br />This urban infill, transit-oriented development evokes the design of European plazas with public <br />spaces and parking areas set off by strong edges using building facades, landscape treatments and <br />paving appointments. These design elements allow for a smooth transition from the fast pass of the <br />surrounding urban streets to a serene and inviting neighborhood development. <br />170
