IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2017-165 <br /> RESOLUTION TO INCREASE THE MAXIMUM CONTRACT CHANCE ORDER <br /> PERCENTAGE FROM 25% TO 40% (FROM $64,623 TO $103,396, AN INCREASE OF <br /> $38,773) FOR PURCHASE ORDER NO. 55997 WITH WRECO FOR DESIGN <br /> SERVICES RELATED TO THE ANNUAL OVERLAY / REHABILITATION 2016-17 <br /> PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 2017.0050 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro did on November 7. 2016 award a $258,490 contract <br /> for design services to WRECO by Resolution No. 2017-122 for the Annual Overlay/ <br /> Rehabilitation 2016-17 project,.Project No. 2017.0050; and <br /> WHEREAS. the City desires to expand the scope of the project to include the design of <br /> sidewalk bulb outs as well other safety improvements for pedestrians and vehicles. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative <br /> change orders up to a maximum of$103,396, which is 40% of the original contract amount of <br /> $258,490. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Cox, and passed and adopted this 20th day of November <br /> 2017, by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cox, I-Fernandez, Lee, Lopez.
