IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2018-010 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CAL <br /> ENGINEERING AND GEOLOGY FOR THE LAKE CHABOT ROAD <br /> STABILIZATION, PROJECT 2009.0030 (PROVIDES FOR THE ENGINEERING <br /> DESIGN TO STABILIZE LAKE CHABOT ROAD) <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Cal Engineering and <br /> Geology for$205,458.00, a copy of which is attached, was presented to this City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof-, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br /> authorized; and <br /> That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual <br /> t, <br /> change orders up to a maximum of$20,545, which is 10% of the original contract amount, each; <br /> and <br /> ,I'liat the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative <br /> change orders LIP to a maximum of$41,092, which is 20% of the original contract amount, for a <br /> total not to exceed $246,550.00. <br /> Introduced by Councilmernber Lee and passed and adopted this 20th day of February <br /> 2018, by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Ballew, Cox, Hernandez, Lee, Lopez, Thomas (6) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> EXCUSED: Mayor Cutter (1) <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Tarnika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />
