City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: March 5, 2018 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:18-098 ACTION ITEMS <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Jeff Kay <br />Assistant City Manager <br />FINANCE REVIEW:Not Applicable <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION Adopting the City of San Leandro 2017 Local Hazard Mitigation <br />Plan <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency requires local jurisdictions to <br />update their Local Hazard Mitigation Plans every five years in order to be eligible for disaster <br />mitigation and assistance funding; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro 2017 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, a copy of which is <br />attached, has been presented to the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the City of San Leandro 2017 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan is hereby adopted subject to <br />certain minor amendments as recommended by the City Manager in consultation with the City <br />Attorney. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 2/27/2018 <br />195
