17 <br /> <br />November 19th as well as presenting information regarding the update to the LHMP at the <br />December 7th San Leandro City Council meeting. <br />October 2015 – Mitigation and Adaptation Strategies: PTM identified mitigation <br />strategies and adaptation goals. Once strategies and goals were identified PTM were <br />tasked with prioritizing the strategies based on the City’s ability to accomplish <br />December 2015 – January 2016 Review Process: PTM members were given the <br />opportunity to review the mitigation strategies and make changes to plan. <br />March 2016 – Plan submitted to State Office of Emergency Services. <br /> <br />2.3 REGIONAL PLANNING PROCESS <br />The City of San Leandro participated in the regional planning process by attending all <br />ABAG workshops, conferences, and meetings. During these meetings, <br />representatives from City of San Leandro were able to discuss and accordingly plan <br />for hazards specific to San Leandro with local partners and stakeholders. ABAG <br />organized and invited all participants via email invite and advertised the meetings on <br />their website. The Cities Emergency Service Specialist was present at all of the <br />meetings mentioned below. Participants were not provided a list of attendee’s titles <br />from the meetings, but those attendees who were related to San Leandro LHMP <br />process are notated <br />The ABAG meetings were held on the following dates: <br />#1 April 16, 2015 Resilience Planning Process Overview - Redwood City <br />Representatives from Alameda County Office of Emergency Services –Emergency <br />Coordinator(s), San Mateo County Office of Emergency Services, Emergency <br />Coordinator(s), Cal Trans, Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), PG&E Public Relations <br />Representative, East Bay Municipal Water District and other local municipalities such <br />as City of Oakland and City of Alameda. During the meeting ABAG walked, the City’s <br />planning team through the LHMP process and timeline. <br /> <br />#2 June 23, 2015 Hazard and Risk Assessment – Foster City <br />Representatives from Alameda County Office of Emergency Services, FEMA <br />Mitigation Specialist, CAL OES, Cal Trans, Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), PG&E, East <br />Bay Municipal Water District and other local municipalities such as City of Hayward <br />and City of Alameda Public Works. ABAG systematically walked participants at the <br />meeting through the hazard and risk assessment process. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />56
