About Eden Housing Application | Parrott Street Apartments <br />September 2017 <br /> 9 <br />Estabrook Place <br />2103 East 14th Street, San Leandro | Affordable Senior Housing <br /> <br /> <br />Estabrook Place is an affordable senior housing development designed to <br />create a supportive environment in San Leandro’s downtown corridor. <br />Estabrook Place is an infill development on East 14th Street, located on <br />property formerly used as a used car lot. <br /> <br />The entry lobby and the large community room open directly onto the <br />courtyard at the ground level to encourage community‐building activities <br />and facilitate the provision of on‐site services. The building includes <br />several community spaces to promote health and wellness for seniors <br />including a courtyard, planter gardens on the roof terrace for resident use, <br />a computer room/ library, and exercise room. <br /> <br />Estabrook Place was designed and constructed as a model green building, <br />employing a range of green building techniques and materials.
