See project 2016.0460 for phase one implementation. This project will be needed when the occupancy rate <br />of our parking spots reaches 85%, at which time we will want to begin charging for on street parking. A smart parking <br />system includes sensors in each parking space that can be accessed via the internet and used to locate available <br />parking spots.
