Summary <br />Demolish the existing indoor pistol range and install new pistol range equipment <br />Description <br />The existing gun range has reached its useful life. Ammunition traps, side wall & ceiling protections are worn. The <br />HVAC system is insufficient for the use of the space. Note that the small size of the existing space is not suitable for <br />rifle practice and will accommodate only pistol use. This project will demolish the entire space and reinstall new <br />HVAC equipment, illumination, ammunition traps, side wall & ceiling protection, target tracks and equipment. <br />Justification or Benefit of Project <br />This project will allow officers to train and be certified in firearm use on site. <br />Consequences of not doing the Project <br />Without this project officers will need to travel to Livermore for practice and certification.
