City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: June 4, 2018 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:18-241 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Jeff Kay <br />Interim City Manager <br />BY:Debbie Pollart <br />Public Works Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION Authorizing 2017-18 Budget Transfers in the Total Amount of <br />$27,000 for Purchase of a New Transit Connect XL Van <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Traffic/Electric Section desires a dedicated vehicle for <br />Underground Service Alert (USA) markings; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has been utilizing a pick-up truck that was due to go to auction last fiscal <br />year; and <br />WHEREAS, a competitive bid will be held for the purchase of the vehicle; and <br />WHEREAS, this purchase is a net new vehicle and funds are required to complete the <br />purchase. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1. That 2017-18 budget transfers in the amount of $13,500 from 010-31-003-5310 and <br />$13,500 from 010-31-003-6105 to the Equipment Maintenance Fund 690-16-002-7510 is <br />authorized; and <br />2.
