This report must satisfy <br />both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable legal requirements. <br />A Certificate of Achievement is valid for a period of one year. We believe that our current CAFR <br />continues to meet the Certificate of Achievement Program’s requirements and we are submitting it to <br />the GFOA to determine its eligibility for another certificate. <br />Acknowledgements <br />This CAFR represents the culmination of numerous hours of hard work expended by the dedicated <br />staff in the Accounting Division of the Finance Department. In particular, I would like to express <br />appreciation to Norite Vong, Rita Gurule-Salcido, Susan Nunes, Sally Perez, and Gregory Watson <br />whose support and dedication made the report possible.
