IN THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RM-ITOWIM[cork►"OlyfflIff"Wiffil <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROJECT CHARTER BETWEEN THE <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION AND VARIOUS AGENCIES <br />INCLUDING THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO FOR THE EAST 14TH STREET/MISSION <br />BOULEVARD AND FREMONT BOULEVARD MULTI -MODAL CORRIDOR STUDY <br />WHEREAS, a Project Charter between the City of San I.,eandro and various agencies <br />including City of San Leandro for the East 14"' Street/Mission Boulevard and Fremont Boulevard <br />Multi -Modal Corridor Study, a copy of which is attached, was presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the intent of the Charter is to memorialize agency commitments to working <br />cooperatively towards an implementable plan for the East 14t" Street/Mission Boulevard and <br />Fremont Boulevard corridor; and <br />WHEREAS, Alameda County Transportation Commission staff will manage the <br />consultant, scope, budget, schedule, and will provide oversight and strategic guidance to the <br />various participating agencies; and <br />WHEREAS, nothing in the Charter commits San I..,eandro to fund the Study or any <br />subsequent project, or to enter into any associated contract; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said Charter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said Project Charter is hereby approved and execution by the interim City Manager is <br />hereby authorized. <br />Introduced by COLIFICilmember Cox and passed and adopted this 18th day Of June 2018, <br />by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Cox, Hernandez, Lee, I-opez, Thomas; Mayor Cutter (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />EXCUSED: Councitmernbe allew <br />ATTEST: <br />Tam i ka-JGreenwood, City Clerk <br />
