City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: July 16, 2018 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:18-279 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Jeff Kay <br />Acting City Manager <br />BY:Keith Cooke <br />Engineering & Transportation Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Accept the Engineer’s <br />Report for Fiscal Year 2018-19 for the Heron Bay Maintenance Assessment <br />District, Assessment District No. 96-3 (Provides funding for the on-going <br />maintenance of certain public facilities constructed as part of the Heron Bay <br />Development) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Leandro, pursuant to the provisions of the San <br />Leandro Municipal Code, §2-5-100 et seq., did order the Engineer, Willdan Financial Services, to <br />prepare and file a report in accordance with the Municipal Code in connection with the proposed <br />levy and collection of assessments for the district known and designated as the Heron Bay <br />Maintenance Assessment District (Assessment District No. 96-3) for the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 2018 and ending June 30, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, the Engineer prepared and filed with the City Clerk of the City of San Leandro, <br />and the City Clerk presented to the City Council such report entitled "Engineer's Report, Heron <br />Bay Maintenance Assessment District, Assessment District No. 96-3, Fiscal Year 2018/2019" <br />(hereafter referred to as the "Report", attached hereto and made a part hereof); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council carefully examined and reviewed the Report as presented, and <br />is satisfied with all of the items and documents set forth therein and finds that the levy is assessed <br />in accordance with the special benefits received from the improvements, operation, maintenance, <br />and services to be performed, as set forth in said Report. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the City Council hereby approves the Engineer’s Report for Fiscal Year 2018-19 for the <br />Heron Bay Maintenance Assessment District, Assessment District No. 96-3, as filed. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 7/10/2018
