IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO, 2018-076 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO TO <br />APPROVE THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION'S <br />RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CAP) GRANTS <br />FOR 2018-19 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the important work of the City's health and human <br />services community-based organizations in creating a safety net for the City's most vulnerable <br />populations; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council Supports efforts to address the following areas: mental health, <br />hunger, shelter, safety net health care, domestic violence and other areas of need in San Leandro; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and acknowledged the need for certain health and <br />human services as identified in the Human Services Gap Analysis (2017). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the City Manager is authorized to enter into (CAP) Grant agreements for 2018-19 with the <br />Recipients identified in the associated staff report, as recommended by the Human Services <br />Commission to the City Council, for a total amount of $150,000 in account 010-61-014-8513 in the <br />2018-19 adopted budget. <br />Introduced by Mayor Cutter and passed and adopted this 16th day Of July 2018, by the <br />following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Ballew, Cox, Hernandez, Lee, Lopez, Thomas; Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (o) <br />EXCUSED: (0) <br />ATTEST: <br />t*1111' Tamika Greenwood, City Clerk <br />
