IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018-088 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO TO <br />APPROVE A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CONVERGEONE FOR <br />CISCO NEXT -GENERATION FIREWALL INSTALLATION (NOT TO EXCEED <br />$104,000.00), AND TO MAKE A FINDING FOR A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT <br />UNDER CALIFORNIA PUBLIC CONTRACT CODE SECTION 3400 <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and ConvergeOne has been <br />presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the City Council of the City of San <br />Leandro, to execute a consulting services agreement on behalf of the City, in a form approved by the <br />City Attorney, with ConvergeOne; and <br />The City Manager is authorized to make all approvals and take all actions necessary or appropriate to <br />carry out and implement the terms of the consulting services agreement and to administer the City's <br />obligations, responsibilities and duties to be performed under the agreement; and <br />That said agreement with ConvergeOne is in an amount not to exceed $104,000.00; and <br />That the City Council hereby finds that in order to match other products already in use on other City <br />systems, it is necessary to approve a sole source justification for Cisco products and equipment, as <br />recommended by ConvergeOne; and <br />That the amount of $104,000.00 from the FY2018-19 Operating Budget (Account 688-13-121-7410) <br />is hereby authorized to purchase said agreement. <br />Attachment(s) to Resolution <br />• Consulting Services Agreement between the City of San Leandro and ConvergeOne For Cisco <br />Firewall Upgrade Project. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Lee and passed and adopted this 16th day of July 2018, by <br />the following vote: <br />
