The annual renewal cost is $84,863.34. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Since 2013, the City of San Leandro has maintained an annual support and maintenance contract <br />with Axon Enterprise (formerly TASER International), to support its body-worn camera program. <br />Analysis <br />The City of San Leandro maintains an agreement with Axon Enterprise that covers the full scope <br />of the body-worn camera program that has been in use by the San Leandro Police Department <br />since 2013. This agreement covers cloud-hosted storage of all camera video; access to software <br />to manage the video; licenses for all 80 body-worn camera devices to integrate into the cloud <br />management system; and hardware warranties for all 80 devices. The agreement includes 24/7 <br />technical support. <br />The City is charged annually by the vendor to renew these software licenses and hardware <br />warranties.
