Waiver ofSubrogation Endorsement aarequired bythe section; and <br />d. Primary Insurance Endorsement mmrequired bvthe section. <br />6.4 Professional Liabilitv Insurance. Reserved. <br />6.5 All Policies Requirements. <br />0.51 Acceptability of Insurers. All insurance required by this section is to be placed with insurers with a <br />Bests' rating ofnoless than A:VU. <br />0.5.2 Verification of Coverage. Prior to beginning any work under this Agreement, Subrecipient shall furnish <br />City with complete copies of all certificates of insurance delivered to 8ubreoipient by the insurer, including complete <br />copies ofall endorsements attached tnthe policies. All copies of certificates ofinsurance and certified endorsements <br />shall show the signature of a person authorized by that insurer to bind coverage on its behalf. |fthe City does not <br />receive the required insurance documents prior to the Subrecipient beginning vvork, it shall not waive the <br />Subneoipient'o obligation to provide them. The City nsmena*m the right to require complete copies of all required <br />insurance policies atany time. <br />6.5.3 . Subreoipiant shall disclose to and obtain the written <br />approval ofCity for the self-insured retentions and deductibles before beginning any ofthe services orwork called for <br />byany term ofthis Agreement. At the option of the City, either: the insurer shall reduce or eliminate such deductibles <br />or self-insured retentions as respects the City, its officers, employees, and volunteers; or the Subrnoipientshall provide <br />o financial guarantee satisfactory to the City guaranteeing payment of |oauao and related investiQahona, claim <br />administration and defense expenses. <br />8.5.4 Wasting Policies. No policy required bythis Section 6 ohoU include a '\wooUng^ policy limit (ie limit <br />that ineroded bvthe cost ofdefenae). <br />6.5.5 Endorsement Reguirements. Each insurance policy required bySection H6shall be endorsed tostate <br />that coverage shall not be canceled by either party, except after 30 days' prior written notice has been provided to the <br />City. <br />6.5.6 Subcontractors. 8ubrecipient aheU include all subcontractors as insureds under its policies orshall <br />furnish separate certificates and certified endorsements for each subcontractor. All coverages for subcontractors <br />shall besubject toall ofthe requirements stated herein. <br />88 Remedies. In addition to any other remedies City may have if Subrecipient fails to provide or maintain <br />any insurance policies orpolicy endorsements tothe extent and within the time herein nequired. City may, atits sole <br />option exercise any ofthe following remedies, which are alternatives to other remedies City may have and are not the <br />exclusive remedy for 8ubnacipient'obreach: <br />a. Obtain such insurance and deduct and retain the amount of the premiums for such insurance <br />from any sums due under the Agreement; <br />b.
