File Number: 18-546 <br />Previous Actions <br />·Resolution 2015-130(July 20, 2015) approving Landscape Structures, Inc. as the sole <br />source provider for playground equipment. <br />Board/Commission Review and Actions <br />Staff presented the three design options to the Recreation and Parks Commission Meeting on <br />August 1, 2018. The Commissioners did not formally choose a design, but they did indicate their <br />preference to have a swing that can accommodate persons with disabilities included in the <br />design that was chosen by the community. Ross Recreation Equipment was able to provide a <br />suitable option that fits into the chosen design. It is included in the equipment quote. <br />Summary of Public Outreach Efforts <br />The Recreation and Human Services Department brought the three design options to several <br />City-sponsored events and had the community vote on their design preference.
