IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2018-149 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE 5 -YEAR GOLF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) PROJECT PLAN AND TO AUTHORIZE AN APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $476,000 FROM THE GOLF COURSE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR IDENTIFIED PROJECTS AT MONARCH BAY GOLF CLUB WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and American Golf Corporation (AGC) requires that AGC Submit to the City for its review and approval a proposed 5 -year budget for major capital improvements, refurbishments, and enhancements to the Golf Course Facility; and WHEREAS, AGC and the City propose an amendment to the list of proposed projects, a brief description of each is presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is Familiar with the contents thereof, and WHEREAS, the City Council Would like to appropriate monies from the Golf Course Capital Improvement Program (CIP) fund, in an amount not to exceed $476,000, towards improvements at the Monarch Bay Golf Club; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment to the 5 -year Golf CIP Project Plan and an appropriation of $476,000 for the two projects. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San I.,eandro does RESOLVE as follows: That the amended 5 -year Golf Course Capital Improvement Project Plan, and an appropriation from the Golf Course Capital Improvement Program Fund (account 9 597-56-115) in an amount not to exceed $476,000 for capital improvements at Monarch Bay Golf Club, are approved and execution thereof by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
