Article 3: Performance of Work <br />5-1-300 STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS. <br />The Public Works Director shall from time to time establish such standards and specifications as <br />he or she deems necessary for the proper construction, use and maintenance of encroachments and <br />for the safety, protection and convenience of the public, which standards and specifications shall <br />be applicable to all permittees. Any work or use done Linder all permits shall conform to the City's <br />standard plans and specifications, unless otherwise required by the Public Works Director. All <br />work or use pertaining to the deployment installation or location of.Small-Cell Wireless Facilities <br />Shall conforruwt thippficable general guidelines and specific design criteria set forth in this Code, <br />and administrative guidelines established -bathe City and in effect, as ma beamended -ftorntirne- <br />to-time. If inadequate provision is made for the safety, protection and convenience of the public by <br />the permittee, the Public Works Director may take Such action as he or she deems necessary for <br />the protection of the public and shall charge the permittee therefor. <br />SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to <br />any person or Circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of the ordinance, including the <br />application of such part or provision to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby <br />and shall continue in full force and effect. To this end, provisions of this ordinance are severable. <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro hereby declares that it would have passed each <br />Section, SLIbsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause, or phrase hereof irrespective of the <br />fact that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, or <br />phrases be held unconstitutional, invalid, or unenforceable. <br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE AND PUBLICATION. Following adoption by at least a <br />four-fifths vote of the City Council, this Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon adoption <br />pursuant to San Leandro Municipal Code Section 1-1-345.
