City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: February 4, 2019 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:19-021 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Jeff Kay <br />City Manager <br />BY:Jeff Kay <br />City Manager <br />FINANCE REVIEW:Not Applicable <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Amend Title 24, <br />Chapter 1, Article 1, Section 24.1.100 of the City of San Leandro Administrative <br />Code Approving Adjustments to the City of San Leandro Arts Commission’s <br />Regular Meeting Date and Time <br />WHEREAS, on January 10, 2018, staff support for the City of San Leandro Arts <br />Commission was transferred from the Recreation & Human Services Department to the City <br />Manager’s Office; and <br />WHEREAS, due to pre-existing meeting commitments that conflicted with the standard <br />Arts Commission meeting schedule on the second Wednesday of the month, the Arts <br />Commission identified an alternative meeting date for future meetings; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 28, 2018, the Commission met on its new meeting date; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 23, 2018, it was suggested by one of the Commissioners to move <br />the meeting time to 6:30 pm rather than 7:00 pm; and <br />WHEREAS, on June 27, 2018, the Arts Commission voted unanimously to change the <br />meeting time to 6:30 pm <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1.That Title 24, Chapter 1, Article 1, Section 24.1.100 of the City of San Leandro <br />Administrative Code is hereby amended to identify that regular meetings of the City of San <br />Leandro Arts Commission shall be held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, <br />convening at the hour of 6:30 pm, unless further amended by unanimous vote of the City of <br />San Leandro Arts Commission. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 1/30/2019
