to maintain a clean appearance while in service. <br />If the CONTRACTOR receives an unsatisfactory rating/report from the California Highway <br />Patrol (CHP), the CONTRACTOR must immediately inform the CITY and indicate the steps <br />to be taken by the CONTRACTOR to remedy the situation. Should such a rating result in a <br />vehicle being unavailable for service, and no satisfactory replacement vehicle is made <br />available, liquidated damages may be assessed by the CITY. <br />The CONTRACTOR is also responsible for the maintenance of all communication systems <br />and all other equipment required in the operation of this service. Maintenance policies and <br />programs for all vehicles must be acceptable and reasonable to the CITY. <br />V. VEHICLE BRANDING <br />The CITY will provide the CONTRACTOR with a sign for the exterior of each in-service <br />bus. CITY will pay for sign.
