IN THC CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019-101 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE THE CITY OF <br />SAN LEANDRO HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION'S RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE <br />COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CAP) GRANTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019-20 AND TO <br />APPROVE ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS OF S28,355 FROM THE GENERAL FUND <br />UNRESTRICTED RESERVES TO OPERATING ACCOUNT 010-61-014-8513 TO RESTORE THE <br />CAP TO FULL FUNDING OF $150,000 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the important work of the City's health and human services <br />community-based organizations in creating a safety net for the City's most vulnerable Populations; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council Supports efforts to address the following areas: mental health , hunger, <br />shelter, safety net health care, dornestic violence and other areas of need in San Leandro; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and acknowledged the need for certain health and human <br />services as identified in the Human Services Gap Analysis. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the City Manager is authorized to enter into (CAP) Grant agreements with the Recipients <br />identified below, as recommended by the Flurnan Services Commission to the City Council, for a total <br />amount of$150,000 in account 01.0-61-014-8513 in the Fiscal Year 2019-20 adopted budget; <br />AGENCY GENERAL FUND (CAP) <br />East Bay Agency for Children (EBAC) $20,000 <br />Family Violence Law Center $25,000 <br />Girls, Inc. of Alameda County $27,500 <br />La Clinica de ]a Raza $32,500 <br />Mercy Retirement and Care Center $20,000 <br />Ruby's Place $15,000 <br />Safe Alternatives from Violent Environments (SAVE) $10,000 <br />TOTAL $150,000 <br />That the City Manager is authorized to appropriate funds of $28,355 from the General Fund <br />Unrestricted Reserves to operating account 010-61-014-8513 in Fiscal Year 2019-20. <br />Introduced by Councilmernber Cox and passed and adopted this 17th day Of June 2019, by the <br />following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilinembers Aguilar, Ballew, Cox, Hernandez, Lee, Lopez; Mayor Cutter (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None <br />ATTEST: <br />1,Kc (a '1, N, Ti g- -Kie I , City C- <br />
