Emsxocmcv MEDICAL SERVICES Fmsr Remomoex Aovxmceo LIFE SUPPORT AGREEMENT (7/1/ZU19) <br />/v <br />A system approved by the County EMS Medical Director that categorizes emergency calls <br />MEDICAL PRIORITY DISPATCH <br />using an escalating scale of severity assigned to medical conditions, relative to the level and <br />SYSTEM (-MPDS-) <br />timeliness of response. <br />A Multi -Casualty Incident (MCI) is any incident where the number of injured persons exceeds <br />MULTI -CASUALTY INCIDENT <br />the day-to-day operating capabilities and requires additional resources and/or the <br />(,'MCI,,) <br />distribution of patients to multiple hospitals. <br />Emergency service performed by neighboring providers during periods of severe weather, <br />MUTUAL -AID <br />multi -casualty incidents, or other events that overwhelm existing resources. <br />PARAMEDIC <br />As defined in California Health and Safety Code, Division 2.5, §1797.84. <br />PCR <br />Patient Care Report, in electronic form. <br />The City jurisdictional limit or area(s) for which the responding agency is responsible to <br />PRIMARY SERVICE AREA <br />provide emergency response.
