File Number: 19-318 <br />2.C. 19-320 Staff Update on Land Development Projects <br />Principal Engineer Michael Stella provided an update on the following Land Use and <br />Development projects: <br />1. Caltrans E. 14th Street Pavement Resurfacing <br />2. EBMUD Bayfair, Peralta and South Pumping Plant Project at Chabot Park and Estudillo <br />Avenue <br />3. San Leandro Blvd PG&E Gas Transmission Pipe Hydrotest Project in front of the San <br />Leandro BART station <br /> <br />Committee Requests/Directions to Staff <br />Vice Mayor Lopez mentioned providing feedback from communication lessons learned to <br />EBMUD, as well as a means for the public to contact the agency directly regarding the pumping <br />plant project. <br />Council Member Cox requested clarification of when the EBMUD pumping plants in Chabot Park <br />will be replaced hoping that it will not impact summer camps. <br />Council Member Cox noted concerns about how the PG&E Hydrotest Project would impact the 4 <br />-hour parking as well as the pending AC Transit BRT project. Vice Mayor Lopez suggested a <br />contingency plan in place early on as part of the project. Vice Mayor Lopez recommends the <br />Committee invite PG&E and other stakeholders to the next BRT Policy Steering Committee <br />meeting scheduled for September 5th. <br />2.D. 19-321 Discussion Regarding Future Agenda Items <br /> <br />1. Neptune Drive FEMA Flood Control Project <br />2. Eden Road <br />3. Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program <br />4. Crosswalk Request and Recommendations <br />5. Bicycle Network - West <br />6. Automatic Red-Light Enforcement <br />7. E-Scooter - Shared Last Mile Transportation <br /> <br />Committee Requests/Directions to Staff <br />The Committee needs further discussion on the Mulford-Marina Library and E-Scooters in the <br />City. The Facilities and Transportation Committee would like to obtain additional input from the <br />Rules Committee to review the policies before bringing it to the City Council. <br />3. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />None. <br /> <br />4.
