Exhibit A <br />San Leandro Municipal Code <br /> <br />Title 3 Health and Safety <br />Chapter 14 Uniform Wastewater Discharge Regulations <br />Section 3-14-800 Wastewater Charges and Fees <br /> <br /> (a) Determination of User Charges and Fees. When user classification charges are <br />established, they shall be based upon a minimum basic charge for each premises, <br />computed on the basis of wastewater from a basic domestic premises with the following <br />characteristics: <br /> <br /> <br />Characteristic Milligrams Per Liter <br />Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) 300 mg/l <br /> <br />Total suspended solids (TSS) 320 mg/l <br /> <br />Volume 145 gal. per day per single-family dwelling <br />unit. <br />Volume 121 gal. per day per multiple-family <br />dwelling unit. <br /> <br /> The charges for all characteristics of users other than the basic domestic premises <br />shall be based upon the relative difference between the average wastewater constituents <br />and characteristics of that classification as related to those of a domestic premises. The <br />charges and fees established for industrial users shall be based upon the measured or <br />estimated constituents and characteristics of that user which may include, but are not <br />limited to, BOD, TSS, and volume. <br /> <br />224
