City of San Leandro Meeting Date: September 16, 2019 Resolution - Council Agenda Section:File Number:19-452 PUBLIC HEARINGS Agenda Number: TO:City Council FROM:Jeff Kay City Manager BY:Tom Liao Community Development Director FINANCE REVIEW:Not Applicable TITLE:RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Approve the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) (approves the CAPER for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) WHEREAS, pursuant to provisions of the Housing and Community Development Act and amendments, the federal government requires local communities to submit a Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) on the progress made on the Annual Consolidated Action Plan; and WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro, as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), duly published notice of, and conducted a public hearing to obtain the community’s comments on the Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) for fiscal year 2018-2019; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the said Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends execution and submission of said Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) as attached. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro hereby RESOLVES that: 1. The attached FY 2018-2019 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) is APPROVED, and staff is directed to submit it to meet the HUD CAPER submittal deadline of September 28, 2019; 2.
