City Council Minutes January 7, 2019 <br />Aye: 7 - Aguilar, Ballew, Cox, Hernandez, Lee, Lopez, Cutter <br />Enactment No: Reso 2019-002 <br />18-673 URGENCY ORDINANCE of the City of San Leandro City Council <br />Amending Title 5, Chapter 5-1 of the San Leandro Municipal Code to <br />Amend Encroachment Requirements Relating to Small Cell Wireless <br />Telecommunications Facilities to Become Effective Immediately. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Cutter, seconded by Councilmember Lee, that <br />this Urgency Ordinance be Passed to Print and Adopted. The motion carried by <br />the following vote. <br />Aye: 7 - Aguilar, Ballew, Cox, Hernandez, Lee, Lopez, Cutter <br />Enactment No: Ordinance 2019-001 <br />10.B. 18-662 MOTION: Motion Designating Vice Mayor to Serve for a Period of One <br />Year Pursuant to City Charter Section 310 <br />A motion was made by Mayor Cutter, seconded by Councilmember Lee, that <br />this Minute Order be Adopted. REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION ACTIONS TAKEN <br />No Closed Session. <br />12. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br />City Councilmembers reported on attendance at intergovernmental agency meetings, <br />conferences, and seminars since the last meeting. <br />13. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />City Councilmembers announced calendar of upcoming events and coordinated <br />attendance; reported on local events attended since the last meeting; and made brief <br />comments on issues of concern. <br />14. COUNCIL REQUESTS TO SCHEDULE AGENDA ITEMS <br />-A motion was made by Mayor Cutter, seconded by Councilmember Cox, to schedule <br />the review of adult recreational cannabis use. <br />Roll call was taken as follows: <br />Aye: Aguilar, Cox, Hernandez, Lee, Lopez, Cutter <br />Nay: Ballew <br />-By consensus, the City Council agreed to schedule a presentation and discussion on <br />the discovery of the tripping hazards and unregulated activity of the use of bikes and <br />scooters, like Lime and or other electric scooters appearing on sidewalks in San <br />Leandro. <br />City of San Leandro Page 4 <br />
