<br />-35- <br />15966623.1 <br />SCHEDULE A <br />AUTHORITY FACILITIES <br /> <br />A. Upon its formation in 1974, the Authority was responsible for overseeing construction of <br />the “Phase I Project,” which was funded by a Clean Water Grant. The Phase I Project included <br />construction of facilities to be owned by the Authority, as well as facilities to be owned by the <br />Agencies. As such, the original Joint Powers Agreement defined Joint and Sole Use Facilities to <br />delineate those Joint facilities to be owned and operated by the Authority and Sole Use Facilities <br />to be owned and operated by the Agencies. In this Amended and Restated Agreement, those <br />facilities owned and operated by the Agencies are deemed no longer relevant to the Agreement, <br />and therefore those Sole Use Facilities have been removed from this Schedule. Those facilities <br />owned and operated by the Authority have been renamed Authority Facilities or Facilities and <br />are enumerated below. <br />B. Authority Facilities or Facilities are: <br />1. Control System <br />2. Operations Center <br />3. Bay Outfall <br />4. Marina Dechlorination Facility (MDF) <br />5. Oro Loma Dechlorination Facility <br />6. Oro Loma Effluent Pump Station (OLEPS) <br />7. Marina to Oro Loma Force Main <br />8. Oro Loma to Hayward Force Main <br />9. Hayward Effluent Pump Station (HEPS) <br />10. Hayward to Union Force Main <br />11. Union Effluent Pump Station (UEPS) <br />12. Skywest Irrigation Project <br />14. Other such additional facilities as determined by the Commission to be Authority <br />Facilities <br />
