<br /> <br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and 10/15/2019 <br />BABRT for Workforce Development and Local Business Inclusion Services Exhibit A – Page 1 of 1 <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />1. Conduct marketing and outreach services to promote and market the City’s Local Inclusion Policy <br />(LIP). Outreach deliverables shall include but are not limited to: <br /> <br />a. Attendance and participation at each of the City’s pre-bid meetings during which resources and <br />assistance shall be offered to bidders, potential bidders, and agents and representatives of <br />firms towards successful achievement of the LIP; <br />b. Attendance and participation at each of the City’s pre-bid meetings during which resources and <br />assistance shall be offered to bidders, potential bidders, and agents and representatives of <br />firms towards successful achievement of the LIP; <br />c. Provision of technical assistance to bidders seeking to identify and negotiate with appropriate <br />San Leandro businesses for City public works contracts; and <br />d. Execution of community outreach activities that provide comprehensive information on how to <br />compete successfully for City contracts, specifically focused on outreach to businesses owned <br />by women, people of color and San Leandro small businesses; and <br />e. Provide monthly reports on marketing and outreach services conducted, and results of each <br />outreach deliverable. <br /> <br />2. Conduct outreach services to promote and educate residents about the City’s Community <br />Workforce Agreement (CWA). Deliverables shall include but are not limited to: <br /> <br />a. Attendance and participation at each of the City’s pre-bid meetings during which resources and <br />assistance shall be offered to bidders, potential bidders, and agents and representatives of <br />firms towards adherence by bidders to the provisions of the CWA; <br />b. Identify San Leandro residents who meet disadvantaged worker criteria and provide outreach, <br />education and referral to local workforce development partners for pre-apprenticeship <br />opportunities; <br />c. Compilation of lists of San Leandro residents who are employed in building, infrastructure and <br />industrial construction and are union and non-union to enable effective outreach pursuant to <br />the CWA; <br />d. Partner with local workforce development agencies identified by the City to promote success of <br />San Leandro resident participants; and <br />e. Provide monthly reports on outcomes identified above including but not limited to: <br /> graduation from pre-apprenticeship programs <br /> amount of and type of apprenticeships considered <br /> assessment of and verification that program participants meet apprenticeship minimum <br />requirements <br /> applications to apprenticeship programs; and/or <br /> ranking of program participant on eligible lists. <br /> <br /> <br />
