City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: January 6, 2020 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:19-653 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Jeff Kay <br />City Manager <br />BY:Jeff Kay <br />City Manager <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION to Approve the Memorandum of Understanding Between the City <br />of San Leandro and the San Leandro Police Officers’ Association (SLPOA) for <br />the period January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2022. <br />WHEREAS, an agreement was reached between the negotiators for the City of San <br />Leandro and the San Leandro Police Officers’ Association (SLPOA); and <br />WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City and the SLPOA, <br />for the period January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2022, is presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1. That said MOU substantially in the form presented is hereby approved and execution <br />by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and <br />2. That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said MOU, <br />subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and <br />3.
