File Number: 19-677 <br />Sourcewell (formally known as the National Joint Powers Alliance - NJPA) is a municipal <br />contracting agency that creates cooperative contract purchasing solutions on behalf of over <br />50,000-member entities including government, education and non-profit agencies nationwide. <br />Staff recommends purchasing the water truck from Peterson Trucks, located in San Leandro, <br />because it was the low bidder through the Sourcewell procurement process, under contract <br />number 081716-NVS. Per the attached proposal, the water truck will cost $122,529.02, including <br />taxes. <br />Budget Authority <br />The Equipment Repair and Maintenance Fund - Vehicle Purchasing Account 690-16-002-7510 <br />has $107,025 earmarked for this purchase.
