Committee discussed possible dates for January meeting. <br />b. Committee would like to add a traffic cameras item and an update on the <br />MacArthur Superior roundabout project on a future agenda. <br />COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS4. <br />a. Mayor Cutter recommended restriping the turn lanes on Hays Street at <br />Davis Street. She also inquired when the intersection at Best Avenue and San <br />Leandro Boulevard will be evaluated for a traffic signal. <br />b. Mayor Cutter suggested evaluating how to improve the aesthetics in the <br />Manor area with landscaping, lighting or other improvements. <br />c. Mayor Cutter observed that the neighborhood traffic calming efforts along <br />Durant Avenue have been successful. <br />d. Mayor Cutter requested an update on actions to address ongoing <br />neighborhood concerns with people who are unhoused resting in Root Park <br />and suggested relocating tables closer to E. 14th Street to encourage people to <br />depart from the park via E. 14th Street. <br />e. Councilmember Cox inquired about EBMUD's progress toward completing <br />Chabot Park project and their repair of the intersection and crosswalk on <br />Estudillo Avenue near the shopping center. <br />ADJOURN5. <br />Meeting adjourned at 5:52 p.m. <br />Page 3City of San Leandro <br />18
