City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: April 20, 2020 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:20-140 ACTION ITEMS <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Jeff Kay <br />City Manager <br />BY:City Council <br />FINANCE REVIEW:Liz Warmerdam <br />Interim Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council Approving and Authorizing <br />the City Manager to Execute a Consulting Services Agreement with Godbe <br />Research for Revenue Measure Feasibility Polling Services and Approve an <br />Appropriation of Funds for $36,000 from the General Fund Economic Uncertainty <br />Reserves <br />WHEREAS, Godbe Research submitted a proposal to the City of San Leandro (“City”) to <br />provide revenue measure feasibility polling services; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a sole source agreement with Godbe Research, <br />based upon their distinct subject matter expertise, as well as San Leandro-specific knowledge <br />that was obtained through prior revenue measure feasibility studies for the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the agreement is approved and the City Manager is authorized to execute a <br />Consulting Services Agreement with Godbe Research in an amount not to exceed $36,000, for <br />revenue measure feasibility polling services; and <br />The approved appropriation of funds for $36,000 from the General Fund economic <br />uncertainty reserves to account 010-12-020-5120. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 4/15/2020 <br />741
