Councilmember Lopez would like to invite CPUC members to come back to <br />discuss further when the council members are present to hear more about <br />Railroad safety issues in future Facilities and Transportation meetings. <br />b. Councilmember Lopez would like Dr. Paydar to work with Hoi-Fei Mok on <br />the Climate Action plan and programming. <br />c. Councilmember Lopez invited CPUC members to attend a future <br />Emergency Preparedness meeting to provide additional information on <br />emergency shut offs. <br />d. Councilmember Lopez would like the City to partner with the Railroad <br />Commission to look at solutions such as signals (cameras) due to the number of <br />railroad crossing fatalities in San Leandro. <br />e. Councilmember Cox asked for clarification on how train engineers operate <br />and deal with trespassers on at-grade crossings. <br />f. Councilmember Lopez would like to invite the Railroad Safety Division to <br />present to the entire council to share strategies for homeless encampments <br />and safety crossings. <br />g. Councilmember Lopez inquired if unique data such as burglaries were <br />collected to support the San Leandro crime data analysis. <br />b. Councilmember Lopez inquired about the estimated cost of the TOC <br />Network upgrade. She would like the committee to implement an integrated <br />approach toward public safety and suggested reconsidering the cost to create <br />adequate system capacity. <br />c.
