<br /> <br /> <br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and CSG Consultants, Inc. <br />for Washington Avenue Reconstruction Exhibit A – Page 3 of 4 <br />traffic signs, trees), features on adjacent properties (fences, walls, walkways, signage, mailboxes), and pavement <br />conditions, overall character of the setting including streetscape amenities in surrounding area. <br />City will coordinate with various utility companies that have facilities within the project area to request mapping of <br />their facilities in the area, notify utility companies of their facilities or covers which need to be relocated or adjusted <br />to grade because of the proposed improvements; and discuss the project and utility adjustment schedules. City will <br />request and provide all utility maps from utility agencies at the beginning of the design stage. All utilities within the <br />proposed improvements will be shown on plans. Consultant will perform utility potholing at up to sixteen (16) <br />locations, enough to understand the characteristics of the underground utilities within the improvement area. <br />Consultant will provide pothole data report. Alternatively, consultant may opt to use the Ground Penetrating Radar <br />(GPR) to locate the utilities. Consultant and City shall agree on the best method to completely identify the utilities <br />within the project limits. <br />Deliverables: <br />Pothole data report <br /> <br /> <br />Task E – 50% Design, 100% Design and Bid Package Submittals <br />Consultant will prepare base map showing existing improvements and develop plans at the 50%, 100% and <br />Final/Bid design levels in accordance with the latest City, Caltrans, and California MUTCD Standard. The plans <br />will provide sufficient detail to construct the proposed improvements. Consultant will propose curb <br />extensions/bulbouts and modify the existing traffic signals at Washington Avenue/Williams Street intersection, and <br />perform vehicle turning movement analysis around proposed curb extensions/bulbouts at intersection corners. <br />City will provide PDF or CAD files of the existing as-built traffic signal plans. Consultant will verify the accuracy of <br />the as-built plans. Any discrepancy between as-built plans and field conditions will be referred to the City for <br />resolution. Proposed modifications to the existing traffic signals will be shown on the City-furnished as-built plans <br />without creating any existing signal system from scratch. Existing wiring to be shown in conductor schedules will <br />be based on the City-furnished as-built plans. Upon requested by the City, CSG can evaluate and recommend <br />green infrastructure, including bioretention area, permeable crosswalks, etc. as an additional service. <br />City anticipates the plan sheet package to include, Title/General Notes/Key Map/Typical Sections, Existing <br />Condition & Horizontal Control Plan, Demolition Plan, Plan/Profile Plan, Construction Details, Signing and Striping <br />Plan and Signal Modifications on City-Furnished As-Built Plan. <br /> <br />Deliverables <br />The following deliverables will be submitted to the City at each level of completion: <br />• Full size hardcopies and PDFs of the 50% and 100% level plans <br />• PDFs of the technical Specifications and estimates <br />• Responses to City’s comments on 50% and 100% submittals <br />• Full size stamped and signed hardcopies of bid level plans <br />• Electronic copies (in AutoCAD) of bid level plans <br />• Electronic copies of technical specifications and estimates (in word and excel, respectively) <br /> <br />.
