ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />The Flex Shuttle is intended for seniors and persons with disabilities. The CITY will <br />determine eligibility criteria and assess applications. All registrants will be issued a <br />membership card for presentation to shuttle bus drivers upon boarding. The CONTRACTOR <br />will be responsible for the verification of all riders to ensure membership. <br /> <br /> Flex Shuttle Eligibility: <br />• San Leandro Resident – Must live within the incorporated City limits. <br />(CITY will determine eligibility) <br />• 50 years old or older, or 18 years or older and East Bay Paratransit <br />Certified <br /> <br /> Non-registrant Companion: <br />• Eligible passengers will be able to travel with a non-registrant companion to assist with <br />parcels and act as a Personal Care Attendants (PCA) if the registrant feels one is required. <br />All companions must be identified at the time of ridership. <br /> <br />C. CURRENT OPERATIONAL STATISTICS <br /> <br /> Number of Registered Program Participants <br />• Approximately 265 Registered Riders <br /> <br /> Service Area <br />• Flex Shuttle: City of San Leandro (Incorporated City Limits) <br /> <br /> Service Days <br />• 3 days per week, Monday-Tuesday-Thursday <br />• Approximately 13 holiday (non-service) days per year <br />• Service on holidays is coordinated with CONTRACTOR in advance <br />• Actual days of operation could change based on demand <br /> <br /> <br /> Hours of Operation <br />• Shuttle Bus: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. <br />• Service will be provided during the hours listed above without a break in service <br />for lunch or employee breaks <br /> <br /> Approximate Billable Hours (Based on Grant & FLEX Shuttle Expansion Plan <br />Schedule) <br />• Flex Shuttle Bus 10,384 <br /> <br /> Productivity – Average Number of Rides/Hour <br />621
