City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: July 6, 2020 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:20-282 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Jeff Kay <br />City Manager <br />BY:Tom Liao <br />Community Development Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:Liz Warmerdam <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Approve a Consulting <br />Services Agreement for $150,000 of Community Development Block Grant <br />(CDBG) Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Funds Between the City of San Leandro and <br />Rebuilding Together Oakland East Bay for the Provision of Housing <br />Rehabilitation Grants. <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Rebuilding Together <br />Oakland East Bay, attached and incorporated herein, was presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1. That said agreement with Rebuilding Together Oakland East Bay is hereby approved <br />and CDBG funds are hereby authorized in the amount of $150,000 for the Housing <br />Rehabilitation Program. <br />2. That said agreement shall include grants to approximately twenty (20) homeowners for <br />minor home repair, mobile home repair, accessibility, exterior paint, exterior yard <br />clean-up, and seismic strengthening and shall include $42,000 for Program <br />Administration in account 165-43-232-5120 and $108,000 for grants in account <br />165-43-232-8501. <br />3.
