EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Term of Contract: July 1, 2020 — June 30, 2021 <br />Agency: BUILDING FUTURES WITH WOMEN AND CHILDREN <br />Address: 1395 Bancroft Avenue <br />San Leandro, CA 94577 <br />Contact Person: ELIZABETH VARELA, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR <br />Phone: 510-924-3088 <br />Project Name: Domestic Violence Education, Outreach & Intervention <br />Program <br />PROJECT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES <br />Contractor shall provide Safe San Leandro, Domestic Violence Education, Outreach and <br />Intervention Programs. Services will be provided in English and Spanish. <br />MAJOR ACTIVITIES <br />• The addition of one San Leandro -based community support group for monolingual Spanish <br />speaking domestic violence survivors, and to continue the men's support group. Both groups will be <br />held in accessible locations; San Leandro's will also have access to the Building Future's programs <br />hosted in Alameda. <br />• One-on-one safety planning, crisis counseling, mental health services, advocacy, and other <br />interventions that will be provided in English and Spanish; <br />• Domestic Violence outreach staff will provide presentations to San Leandro businesses, service <br />providers, workplaces, and schools on the dynamics of intimate partner violence and safe ways to <br />help; <br />• Update the informational postcard in English, Spanish and Chinese, create social media to impart <br />the signs of domestic violence and how to access help; <br />• Hotel Vouchers provided to 3- 5 Leandro families fleeing domestic violence providing up to 1 <br />week stay, food, transportation and support. <br />PERFORMANCE MEASURES <br />SUBRECIPIENT SHALL, FOR THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT: <br />Provide 10-15 San Leandrans with one-on-one safety planning, mental health counseling, advocacy, <br />and other interventions, these services will be provided in English and Spanish by Building Futures <br />
