RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2020-089 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL <br />OVERRULING PROTESTS TO THE IMPOSITION OF LIENS FOR DELINQUENT <br />ACCOUNTS OF MONIES OWED TO THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO (2020 BUSINESS <br />LICENSE TAX, SOLID WASTE SERVICE CHARGES, CERTIFIED UNIFIED <br />PROGRAM AGENCY (CUPA) FEES, CODE COMPLIANCE ADMINISTRATIVE <br />PENALTIES AND CHARGES, AND PLANNING PERMITS) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Leandro conducted a public hearing on <br />the assessments proposed to be levied for non-payment of delinquent 2020 business license tax, <br />solid waste service charges, Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) fees, code compliance <br />administrative penalties and charges, and planning permits; and <br />WHEREAS, said hearing was conducted on or around 6:00 p.m. on July 20, 2020 at an <br />open and noticed regular meeting of the City Council held in accordance with Governor Newsom's <br />Executive Order N-29-20; and <br />At or before the time set for hearing, owners or persons in possession of the property <br />described in the Report of the Finance Director were provided with the opportunity to protest or <br />object to the proposed assessments. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />Except as stated by the City Council, each of the protests or objections, written or oral, are <br />hereby overruled. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Ballew and passed and adopted this 20th day of July 2020, <br />by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Ballew, Cox, Hernandez, Lopez, Mayor Cutter (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />RECUSED: Councilmember Lee <br />ATTEST: e—`ZX�..
