DocuSign Envelope ID: 506902C9-6B6C-41F5-9B22-C2DA0519370B AMENDMENT NO.1 TO CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND ARCHITECTURAL RESOURCES GROUP, INC. FOR CASA PERALTA IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT (PS&E PHASE) This Amendment No. 1 ("Amendment") is made by and between the City of San Leandro ("City") and Architectural Resources Group, Inc. ("Consultant") (together sometimes referred to as the "Parties") as of June 22, , 2020, and amends that certain Consulting Services Agreement ("Agreement") dated February 21, 2019 between the Parties. WHEREAS, City and Consultant have executed the Agreement, pursuant to which Consultant has provided certain consulting services to City with regard to design services for proposed improvements at Casa Peralta, and WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to include additional design work related to the preservation of an existing redwood tree, and WHEREAS, the added design work will cost $11,132.00, which is 3.26% of the original contract amount of $341,130.00. NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the Parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: 1. Section 1.1 of the Agreement entitled "Term of Services" is hereby amended to extend the term from June 30, 2020, to December 31, 2020; and 2. Section 2 of the Agreement entitled "Compensation" is hereby amended to pay Consultant a sum not to exceed THREE HUNDRED FIFTY-TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO DOLLARS ($352,262.00); and 3. Exhibit A of the Agreement entitled "Scope of Services" is hereby amended to add the following items under "Site Improvements": Removal of curbs and paving at the two conjoined octagonal plantings in the southeast front garden Redesign of paving, plantings and irrigation at the aforementioned octagonal planting areas Amendment No. 1 to Consulting Services Agreement Page 1 of 3 between City of San Leandro and ARG for Casa Peralta (PS&E)
